THE TAIRAWHITI MUSEUM TRIP!!!!!!!!

Last week on Thursday the 21st me and my class went to the Tairawhiti Museum and went on the education class because last time we went to the museum with another class we just went to look around. The lady's name that is standing in the corner by the wall is Aunty Ora or you can just call her Ora or Aunty. We also went on a scavenger hunt for art around the museum and my two friends Chloe and Zoe both walked past one of the things that we needed to find twice... After the scavenger hunt we went to 2 or 3 different rooms and got some inspirations for the sponge art we were making.

I found it easy to just walk around the room and find all of the things that we had to find for the scavenger hunt and write them down on the piece of paper that Aunty Ora gave us. I also found it easy to try not be too loud in the museum as Aunty Ora said. Another thing I found easy was doing the last step of the sponge art I was doing witch was painting over the bird I made with a long toothpick and then put it on a piece of colourful paper.

I found it hard to pronounce some of the things that we found in maori. I also found it hard to follow Aunty Ora to different rooms without getting pushed around or lost because we weren't in a line when we were going to different rooms like we would normally do. The last thing I found hard was tracing around  the bird stencil I chose.

Next time when I go to the museum I might try find Aunty Ora and say hello! 😊😊
